Editorial Guidelines
GyanTrails publishes practical guides meant to help readers take a next step—study better, ship safer systems, or form durable habits—without thin filler or unverifiable authority claims.
What we publish
- Long-form explainers with examples, checklists, and failure modes
- Updates when platforms, research consensus, or tooling changes
Author standards
- Bylines link to an author profile with a short bio and published work
- Health and science pieces are educational; they are not personalized medical advice
- Technology claims that affect production systems cite primary docs where practical
- We do not invent credentials. “Staff” labels mark recurring editors, not medical licenses
Quality bar
Guides should be specific enough that a careful reader can act the same day. We avoid copy-paste tip sheets, keyword stuffing, and pages that exist only to host ads.
Review cadence
High-traffic guides are revisited at least twice yearly. The "Updated" date on each article reflects the most recent editorial pass.
Corrections
Send factual corrections via our contact page or editorial@gyantrails.com. Material fixes are noted through the article update date.
